Can I Eat it? - Grades 6-8

Answer this commonly asked question as we learn how to identify (and eat!) edible plants found at River Bend. We’ll supplement our wild edibles with some camp food –traditional and not so traditional—that we’ll make over a fire and with a Dutch oven.

Bring a lunch and snacks needed to get through a busy day. Camps will devote half of the day or more on the assigned theme. The other part of the day will be spent doing traditional camp activities that may include but are not limited to games, teambuilding, archery, biking, & hiking.

Upon completion of registration, you will receive a confirmation email. Within the month following registration, you will receive an additional email with an attached information packet including the River Bend liability form and health form. These forms can also be found here.
