Join the fun at River Bend Nature Center Science Club! Science Club is the early-release day science program for Faribault elementary school students at Jefferson, Lincoln, and Roosevelt Elementary Schools and Cannon River STEM School. This program is for 1st through 5th graders. Participation is limited to the first 15 students to register from each school.

This month's topic is Fantastic Beasts and Biomes to Find Them: Sea pigs, gerenuks, and babirusas, oh my! Where do these strange animals live? Join us at River Bend for a magical trip through the world’s biomes! We’ll see what it takes to survive from the frozen arctic to the tropical rainforests—and explore the fantastic animals that you can find there.

Scholarship discounts are available to students qualifying for the free/reduced price lunch program. Those eligible for the scholarship will receive a 50% discount on the cost of the program.

Students will be picked up from school by bus and transported to River Bend Nature Center after school releases for the day. After Science Club, students will be bused back to their school where they need to be picked up by their parent/guardian. Times students leave from and arrive back at school vary by school, see registration for specific times.
