Science Club: Creating Crafts and Chemistry

Open to students from Faribault's Jefferson, Lincoln, & Roosevelt elementaries and Cannon River STEM School in grades 1-5. 
Cost: $15 (Scholarships available, see below).
Pre-registration is required by Friday, December 2nd, 2016. Limit 15 students per school.

Join the fun at River Bend Nature Center Science Club! Science Club is the early-release day science program for Faribault elementary school students at Jefferson, Lincoln, and Roosevelt Elementary Schools and Cannon River STEM School. This program is for 1st through 5th graders. Participation is limited to the first 15 students to register from each school.

This month's topic is Creating Crafts & Chemistry: Come along to River Bend and explore the crazy chemistry we can find in nature! Create awesome chemical reactions, learn about how food and chemistry go together, and make some fun crafts using our new chemical knowledge!

Scholarship discounts are available to students qualifying for the free/reduced price lunch program. Those eligible for the scholarship will receive a 50% discount on the cost of the program.

Students will be picked up from school by bus and transported to River Bend Nature Center after school releases for the day. After Science Club, students will be bused back to their school where they need to be picked up by their parent/guardian. Times students leave from and arrive back at school vary by school, see the list below for specific times.
