Learn to Ski Open to all ages. Cost: $15/person, $10/member January is Learn to Ski Month. Take advantage of River Bend’s trails by formally learning how to ski from a River Bend naturalist. You'll learn the history of skiing and the techniques necessary to glide around River Bend: turning, stopping, and conquering the ups and downs of tiny hills. Cost of the program includes ski rental for the entire day, so you'll be able to go even further after the lesson is done. Beginners are encouraged! Our ski supply is limited when if comes to smaller sizes. Skiiers must wear at least a shoe size 4 in youth to participate. Shoe size will be asked upon registering and sizes will be reserved in the order of registration. Registration can be done online or over the phone. Reserved sizes will be given to others if you are 5 minutes late to the program. |
