Homeschool Science Day: River Bend Safari

Homeschool Program: River Bend Safari

Open to homeschoolers in K-6th grade. Cost: $8 per child.
Pre-registration is required by July 14th.

Monday, July 17th, 2017, 2:00-3:30pm

Classes are divided by age (if the group has more than 10 participants): ages 7 & under and ages 8 & up.
Please note that the fee applies to each walking or older child who accompanies a class.

River Bend Safari: 

Did you know that baby deer have no scent? Or that some frogs freeze solid in the winter? Join us as we explore River Bend in search of some amazing animals while also learning about the adaptations that help them survive. We'll be sure to gear up with homemade hats and binoculars before we head out on the trail for an unbeatable adventure!

River Bend offers a monthly science program designed for homeschool families. Our programs are led by our experienced education staff. The classes are designed to provide students with an enriching hands-on experience to supplement their science lessons. All classes include an outdoor component.
